Los Amigos combined with the AAOBPPH
(American Association of Owners & Breeders of Peruvian Paso Horses) to
produce the AAOBPPH Mid-Summer Peruvian Classic Championships from 1977 to
1982. The first show being 1977, no Champion of Champions were
awarded. Los Amigos held their own Mid Summer Championship Shows
from 1982 to 1984. At that first show, no Champion of Champions were
awarded. Due to the club's
participation, and the efforts of the exhibitors, Laureado and Laureada
titles were presented throughout the entire series of shows.
